Silicone Tableware FAQs
What are True tableware produces made of?
Our products are made of food-grade silicone, free of harmful chemicals such as BPA, BPS, PVC, or phthalates. Food-grade silicone is non-toxic and safer than plastic tableware. In addition, it withstands heating and freezing without leaching hazardous chemicals like some plastic equivalents.
Are your silicone products safe?
Yes! Our products are FDA approved and meet international safety standards. Additionally, our tableware products are independently certified by Industrial Technology Institute in Sri Lanka (CISIR approved) SS 2101335.
Does True tableware stain?
Certain foods might create a residue on your silicone tableware that might take two or more washes to get out. Don't fret, the residue isn't permanent. Try rubbing some lime over the stains. To disinfect, you can also try giving them a soak in hot water and white vinegar (using the ratio of 1 cup of vinegar for every two cups of hot water). Rinse and dry thoroughly.
How do I get my suction tableware to stick properly?
True suction tableware needs to be clean to suction. Sometimes dust, dirt or even soap can affect the suction. Properly clean to release any residue left behind on your tableware items. You will also need to suction onto a solid, flat dry surface, for example: plastic highchair trays, glass tables, tile, metal or any polished surfaces. Uneven edges or porous surfaces (such as wood) won't work as well. Please read the care guide provided with your suction product for more tips and tricks!
Can I sterilize my True silicone tableware?
Yes you can! Our silicone tableware is microwave and oven safe up to 300F. It is also freezer/fridge safe. However, please be mindful not to over-heat. Do not heat for more than a minute at a time, as this may damage the items.
While we do recommend washing your items by hand with warm non oil-based soapy water; silicone tableware can be sterilized with boiling water or in a microwave. We do not recommend UV sterilization of any silicone product to preserve your product for the long run.

Does True have a store to visit?
We do not have our own retain store (for now) but our products are available in selected stores and also children/baby shops. Please check our stockist page for more information.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship throughout Sri Lanka and a select list of countries internationally. Please check our shipping section for more information.
