True is a family run business that was founded by Tina Lobo towards the end of 2019 in sunny Sri Lanka. Becoming a new mum to her daughter was a life-changing experience. Having a background in finance coupled with a new-found passion to create and curate aesthetically pleasing and highly functional baby products, led her to launch the brand.
Now run together with her husband Kumara, (and in-house product checker - 2 year old Aria 😊) True has grown from a small insta-shop to having an expanding product line in 2022.
True is proudly a pioneer in its field, being the first silicone tableware and teether brand in Sri Lanka. We are a purpose led brand with impact. We strongly believe in building & giving back to the community, with a strong focus on fair trade + profit distributions to underprivileged children in Sri Lanka.
